VNTANA, a leading mixed reality company, and Mall of America, announced a collaboration with the launch of the first-ever Shopping Hologram Concierge to bring consumers a personalized and frictionless shopping experience this holiday season. The industry-first experience allows shoppers to ask Ellie, Mall of America’s Shopping Hologram Concierge for gift advice and other shopping needs giving consumers a personalized shopping experience in America’s largest retail and entertainment destination. For example, Ellie will list out gifting categories such as “teen” or “husband” and you can choose what category you’d like her to help you with. Ellie will ask you additional questions to help you pick the perfect gift.
The Shopping Hologram Concierge is powered by VNTANA’s patented software platform that allows anyone to connect an existing chatbot (i.e. Microsoft Azure, Amazon Alexa, IBM Watson, Satisfi Labs or others) with a 3D model to create an intelligent avatar that can assist consumers in a number of ways that could include answering questions, scheduling appointments, giving directions, and even helping with purchases. The software platform allows retailers to easily create interactive experiences that sync with their CRM system to provide a more personalized experience for their customers while generating leads.
