Kenshoo, a global leader in marketing technology, was named the top provider of search engine marketing and social media marketing technology in Internet Retailer’s 2020 Leading Vendors to the Top 1000 report for the sixth consecutive year.
The Internet Retailer ranking of top solution providers offers a roadmap for retailers searching for the ecommerce technologies and services most preferred by the Top 1000 merchants. Vendor rankings are based on the number of clients in the 2019 edition of Internet Retailer’s Top 1000. Kenshoo led as the vendor with the most Top 1000 clients in both the search engine marketing and social media marketing categories.
“Retailers again encountered rapid change in digital marketing in 2019, but this year, it was about more than adopting new publishers and ad types,” said Will Martin-Gill, chief corporate strategy and development officer for Kenshoo. “As publishers limited or eliminated cookie-based targeting, long relied on by retailers to provide customers with relevant, cross-channel experiences, the roles of search and social marketing became even more substantial within the overall marketing mix. Top retailers are adopting new, testing-based approaches to measurement and leveraging unique datasets to deliver more personalized one-to-one experiences. They are thinking beyond demand generation to things like how to derive actionable insights across the entire customer journey, expand their co-op offerings for vendors, and monetize via ad publishing.”
As ecommerce continues to grow, Kenshoo keeps pace with new innovations that help retailers improve returns while capitalizing on emerging ad types and channels. Internet Retailer’s 2020 Leading Vendors to the Top 1000 combines data and case studies to provide an overview of the most popular vendors providing ecommerce solutions to the world’s largest retailers. The report ranks the top 10 vendors used by Internet Retailer Top 1000 retailers across 27 categories.
